During the consultation process, the technician takes observations of the facial structure and lifestyle, all the past activities and history of the hair, and then analyzes the hair, scalp and skin. It is at this point and educated and informed decision, is determined as to what is best for each client before any service(s) is administered.
Some of these determinations would be (1) a. If a series of conditioners, and treatments, is needed before any chemical services can be done; b. If a pre-treatment is needed to coat, shield and protect the hair from over-processing and damage, (2) Determine what is the best shampoos and conditioners needed to achieve the best and healthiest results, such as removing medications, chlorine, and returning the hair and skin back to it's normal ph balance, and (3) using products that relaxes the senses with its wonderful aroma therapy scents, and that perfect hair style.
